A Building Block Towards Child Friendly Cities
This Canadian document has ten ready-to-use lesson plans. There are adaptations for ELL and youth with special needs. It also has a version of the UNCRC in child-friendly language. I highly recommend this document!
Needs, Rights, Wants activity
In these activities students explore the idea that people’s basic needs are considered rights, and see the link between rights and responsibilities. It includes a one-page summary of the UNCRC. (This was also developed for Canada.)

Boulder Journey School Teacher Intern Assignment
This is an assignment for early childhood educators enrolled in a class on children's rights taught by the BJS. The activity asks teachers to develop and test methods to learn about rights from very young children (0-5 years old).
